Magnetek, Inc. Announces Launch of
NEW PulseStar™ Wireless Controls
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - September 28, 2009 -Magnetek, Inc. today announced the launch of its new Enrange PulseStar™ MBT and PulseStar PGT wireless controls for mobile hydraulic applications. These new products provide customers with advanced control technology to meet the requirements of a variety of applications. All of the Company’s wireless controls can be customized to meet application requirements, reducing internal engineering and manufacturing costs, while enhancing equipment performance.
The ergonomically designed PulseStar MBT is one of the smallest and lightest bellybox transmitters available, yet it offers control capability found in much larger bellybox controls. Flexible options include proportional joysticks, toggle switches, potentiometers, graphic display, two-way feedback, and FHSS RF. This ergonomically designed transmitter features rugged, super-tough nylon housing made to withstand shock, and is rated NEMA 4 (IP66) to withstand harsh, industrial environments. The PulseStar MBT is designed to minimize power consumption, providing one of the longest life batteries in the industry today.
The Company’s new PulseStar PGT pistol grip transmitter also features a variety of control options typically found on a bellybox transmitter, but in a handheld transmitter’s size, weight and style. This single proportional trigger transmitter is an extremely economical option for controlling multiple proportional hydraulic valves.
“We are excited to introduce these new transmitter options, and we look forward to demonstrating how they can be customized to meet almost any application,” said Chris Dulin, wireless controls product manager for Magnetek.
These two new transmitters further increase the Company’s wireless controls portfolio, which includes the sophisticated PulseStar XLTX and MLTX bellybox transmitters. Also available is the Enrange Flex Pro series of versatile handheld proportional transmitters, which offer 4, 8, or 12 button configurations. The Flex Pro features adjustable speed control, which provides the operator with precise and smooth control over their equipment. The Flex Pro also features a unique I-Chip design that makes the transmitter universal and programmable in the field.
